Job summary

Olos Chattanooga is seeking an Expo team member to support the culinary team and help ensure smooth service at our Chattanooga location.

You will be responsible for maintaining plate quality, keeping a clean and sanitary station, and assisting with prep during slower periods, while adhering to portions and garnish standards for all dishes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist culinary team throughout the shift.
• Keep a clean, sanitary station and proper utensil/equipment storage.
• Ensure plate quality meets standards.
• Follow standard portions, cooking methods, and kitchen rules.
• Portion food according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station.
• Arrange plate presentation and garnishes.
• Handle, store, and rotate stock properly.
• Assist with food prep during slower periods.

Expo Responsibilities

• Working with culinary team members assisting you throughout the shift


• This position requires great attention to detail, while maintaining a clean and sanitary station everyday (all utensils, pans, equipment, etc)


• Responsibility for quality of plates served


• Complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedure


• Portions food products prior to opening according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications


• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, and refrigeration equipment


• Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes


• Handles, stores and rotates all products properly
  
• Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed

Requirements:

• Work well with others as a team


• Able to lift 25-50 lbs.


• Exert fast-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours in length


• Requires use of motion that entails, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists
