Job summary

Vision Hospitality is seeking an Expo at Olos Chattanooga to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will assist the culinary team, maintain sanitary workstations, and help ensure plate quality and proper portions in a collaborative setting.

The role requires teamwork, ability to lift 25-50 lbs, and to stay active for up to 8 hours with bending and repetitive motions. On-site position in Chattanooga, TN.

Qualifications

• Must work well with others as a team.
• Able to lift 25-50 lbs.
• Exert fast-paced mobility for up to 8 hours.
• Bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stretching and frequent use of fingers and wrists required.

Responsibilities

• Work with culinary team members assisting you throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary station and proper utensil handling.
• Ensure quality and portion sizes of plates.
• Follow standard kitchen methods, cooking methods and recipe specifications.
• Prepare portions and assist in food prep during off-peak periods as needed.
• Assist in plating and garnish setup for all dishes.

Expo Responsibilities

• Working with culinary team members assisting you throughout the shift


• This position requires great attention to detail, while maintaining a clean and sanitary station everyday (all utensils, pans, equipment, etc)


• Responsibility for quality of plates served


• Complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedure


• Portions food products prior to opening according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications


• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, and refrigeration equipment


• Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes


• Handles, stores and rotates all products properly
  
• Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
