Carter Lumber in Monroe, MI is seeking a Kitchen Design & Sales Representative to identify sales opportunities and close deals with contractors, remodelers, and homeowners. You will leverage product knowledge to guide customers from initial contact through installation, focusing on accuracy, timeliness, and strong communication.

Responsibilities include designing and selling cabinetry, materials, and services, generating quotes, reading blueprints, and maintaining relationships.

Qualifications

• Design and sell to contractors and homeowners.
• Knowledge of kitchen and bath cabinetry, materials, finishes, detailing.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Strong math for quotes, discounts, and percentages.
• Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Identify target customers and grow market share.
• Collect and update information on customers’ product use and trends.
• Sell building materials and installed sales services to contractors.
• Determine appropriate credit program based on customer needs.
• Meet and exceed sales and profit goals through leads and market awareness.
• Assist with take-offs and communicate scheduling/delivery commitments.
• Maintain open communication with team and customers to ensure timely service.
