Carter Lumber is seeking a Kitchen Design & Sales Representative in Michigan to identify sales opportunities with contractors, remodelers and homeowners. You will apply cabinetry knowledge, use 20/20 design software, and communicate effectively to close sales and schedule installations.

Responsibilities include building relationships, preparing quotes, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining timely follow-up and accurate product information.

Qualifications

• Design and sell to contractors and homeowners.
• Excellent knowledge of cabinetry, materials, finishes, and detailing.
• Reading blueprints and performing detail-oriented tasks.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in writing and speech.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Identify target customers and expand market share.
• Serve contractors by selling building materials and installed services.
• Prepare quotes, determine credit programs, and follow up on leads.
• Meet or exceed sales and profit goals and ensure customer scheduling and delivery commitments.
• Maintain open communication between store team and customers.
