Job summary

Carter Kitchen & Bath is seeking a Kitchen Design and Sales Representative to lead design-from-measurement through delivery on new construction and remodel projects. You will design spaces, generate quotes, and secure sales while collaborating with builders, contractors, and homeowners.

Ideal candidates combine a design background with proven sales skills, excellent communication, and strong math for quoting. The role offers growth and a pathway within our family-owned Carter Lumber organization.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to design and to sell to contractors and homeowners.
• Excellent knowledge of kitchen and bath cabinetry, materials, finishes, detailing, and trends.
• Working knowledge of 20/20 and Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to perform detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on customer needs.
• Strong math skills for quoting.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Design interior spaces (kitchens, bathrooms, offices, mudrooms, bars) for projects from measurement to delivery.
• Work with builders, contractors, and homeowners to design and secure the final sale.
• Take job site measurements and develop designs.
• Communicate with vendors and manage product selection and delivery.
