Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our chefs, engage guests, and help deliver a best-in-center experience across classes and in-store interactions. You will contribute to a collaborative, hospitality-driven environment that inspires guests to cook and share good food.

In this role you’ll assist with class execution, maintain a clean, organized kitchen, and uphold food-safety standards while leaning into teamwork and guest hospitality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year retail sales experience preferred.
• 1 year food prep/kitchen operations experience preferred.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand by creating memorable, educational experiences.
• Assist chefs with class execution and drive enrollment.
• Maintain clean, organized kitchen and prep stations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and SOPs.
• Support inventory and restocking as needed.
