Sur La Table is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to inspire customers through culinary experiences and support chefs in class execution. You will engage guests, ensure a clean, well‑organized kitchen, and represent the brand with a guest‑obsessed attitude.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, assisting with class prep, and helping achieve class revenue goals through high enrollment and positive guest feedback.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of employment.
• 1 year retail sales experience, preferred.
• 1 year food prep and/or kitchen operations experience, preferred.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent brand by creating memorable customer experiences that inspire loyalty.
• Assist chefs with class execution to drive enrollment and positive feedback.
• Support class revenue goals with high enrollment and strong reviews.
• Set up and breakdown classes; maintain clean, organized kitchen.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain inventory and restock kitchen supplies.
