Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1 year retail sales experience, preferred
• 1 year food prep and/or kitchen operations experience, preferred
• Valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table brand by creating memorable, educational experiences that inspire loyalty.
• Maintain product knowledge through training and self-directed learning.
• Lead a guest-obsessed culture in both kitchen and retail areas.
• Assist chefs with class execution to drive enrollments and positive feedback.
• Meet monthly sales goals and contribute to store revenue through enrollment and customer satisfaction.
• Set up and breakdown classes; prepare mise en place, ingredients, and maintain clean workstations.
• Follow food safety standards, sanitation regulations, and proper handling of tools and ingredients.
