Job summary

NGK Ceramics in Mooresville, NC is seeking a Load/Unload Operator for the B shift (6:30am–6:45pm), four days on, four days off. You will load, unload, and move products for kiln area operations to support safe, efficient production.

Key tasks include handling kiln cars, operating the hydraulic transfer car, recording data in CAPAC, and maintaining clean, undamaged materials. A high school diploma or GED and basic safety, reading, and math skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must complete all required job training.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, and moves products to and from kiln cars according to procedures.
• Operates the hydraulic transfer car and verifies movement with control panel indicators.
• Inputs process data into CAPAC and related systems.
• Keeps materials clean and undamaged, using gloves and proper handling techniques.
• Reports issues to team leader or management in a timely manner.
