Job summary

CoorsTek is hiring Loader/Unloader II to maintain kiln performance and manage loading/unloading of kilns and furnaces. Responsibilities include precise readings, timely adjustments, and routine maintenance to ensure production quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math/computer skills, and forklift certification. Schedule is swing shift with differential, and compensation aligns with industry standards in the United States.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Must be able to work with a diverse team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate kilns/furnaces and document operations per procedures.
• Take readings and maintain firing within specifications.
• Monitor and adjust kiln/furnace timing with computer software as needed.
• Restart kilns/furnaces after outages or surges.
• Perform routine maintenance on kilns/furnaces.
• Load and unload kilns/furnaces up to 80% of the time.
• Move heavy kiln cars as required and rebuild kiln cars when needed.
• Inspect kiln furniture and related components and report issues.
