Job summary

NGK Ceramics USA, Inc. in Mooresville, NC is seeking a Load/Unload Operator for 6:30am-6:45pm with a 4-on, 4-off schedule.

You will load, unload, and move products for kiln area operations to support safe, efficient production of fired ceramic products. Responsibilities include preparing travel tickets, loading/unloading across kiln cars, operating the hydraulic transfer car, recording process data into CAPAC, and maintaining clean, undamaged materials.

Qualifications

• Must complete all required job training.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6 month manufacturing/warehousing experience preferred.
• CRC Bronze or above preferred.
• Certified Production Technician program completion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and confirms travel tickets and load/unload plan at kiln cycle start.
• Performs manual loading and unloading of products to/from kiln cars.
• Operates hydraulic transfer car and verifies movement via panel indicators.
• Inputs process data into CAPAC and transfers pallets as directed.
• Maintains cleanliness and uses gloves; follows safe handling procedures.
• Reports safety or production issues to team lead promptly.
