Job summary

Michaels stores are seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to plan and run in-store events, including children’s birthday parties, while delivering friendly customer service and efficient checkout experiences.

You will engage guests, lead activities, and support store operations and merchandising. Prior experience with children’s events and strong communication are preferred, with retail experience considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events in-store, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes.
• Engage guests of all ages and create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate crafts and lead activities; handle face painting and party add-ons.
• Communicate event details to clients and store team members; manage emails and calls.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety standards, and SOPs; assist with stock and recovery tasks.
