Job summary

Michaels is seeking an energetic Events Coordinator to plan and run in-store events, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes. You’ll engage guests, demonstrate crafts, and ensure a fun, safe environment while supporting store operations.

You will coordinate add-ons, manage communications with clients and team members, and assist with checkout and administrative tasks to maintain a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events such as children’s birthday parties and craft classes.
• Engage with customers and guests, helping them shop and participate in activities.
• Instruct and assist participants in crafts and activities.
• Coordinate add-ons (goody bags, balloons) to brand standards.
• Assist with checkout, emails, calls, and paperwork as needed.
• Support store operations, merchandising, and safety requirements.
