New Creations seeks a dependable Kitchen Coordinator in Saint Michael, MN to oversee nutritious meals for children. You will plan menus, ensure health and safety standards, manage inventory, and coordinate with classroom staff to support dietary needs.

Responsibilities include licensing compliance, daily kitchen operations, documentation, and occasional classroom support. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to work independently, and passionate about child health through nutrition.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
• ServSafe and MN Food Protection Manager license preferred but may be required.
• State background check and fingerprints required.
• Adult/Child First Aid & CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Licensing & compliance: maintain and post licenses and certifications.
• Daily Kitchen Operations: prepare and serve meals and snacks to children.
• Inventory & Ordering: manage weekly grocery list and inventory.
• Menu Planning & Documentation: post menus to Kindertales and boards; track lunch counts.
• Kitchen & Food Safety: keep the kitchen clean, sanitary, and compliant with health codes.
• Team Support & Collaboration: assist teaching staff and Site Director; communicate menus and allergies.
• May assist in classroom ratio when needed.
