Job summary

St. John's United seeks a Kitchen Coordinator for the Center for Generations to oversee breakfast and snacks, inventory, ordering, and CACFP compliance while maintaining cleanliness and proper food labeling.

The role includes meal prep, serving lunch to children, collaboration with kitchen staff across centers, and meeting ServSafe requirements. This is a non-exempt, on-site role reporting to the Director/Assistant Director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or HiSet.
• At least one year experience with food safety, ordering/purchasing, and proper sanitation methods.
• ServSafe Certification or willingness to be ServSafe Certified within the first 30 days.
• Comfortable working around children in a childcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Plans breakfast and afternoon snack weekly.
• Order the food needed to provide nutritious meals for the two meals.
• Inventorying, stocking, and ordering bathroom/kitchen supplies.
• Maintain CACFP paperwork and fridge/freezer temperature logs.
