Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Kids Instructor in Naperville to deliver fun, educational fitness programming for children from 3 months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. You will organize activities, set up classes, and ensure safe, engaging experiences for families and members.

Responsibilities include greeting members, guiding activities, maintaining attendance records, upholding safety, and communicating with parents.

Qualifications

• First Aid certification and CPR/AED required within 60 days of hire.
• Completion of Kids On-Demand Learnings prior to first day.
• 6+ months of teaching children ages 3–11 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with members and guests professionally.
• Instructs organized activities to foster development per schedule.
• Prepares and sets up for classes and transports children as needed.
• Maintains attendance, development, and incident records.
• Ensures a safe environment regarding toys and equipment.
• Uses positive behavior management and communicates with parents.
• Promotes Junior programming to boost participation.
• Keeps Kids Academy clean and restocks supplies after classes.
• Handles incidents calmly and reports emergencies when needed.
