Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Kids Instructor to provide educational and fitness-minded programming for children aged three months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. You will organize, instruct, and ensure safe, fun activities, and may host parties and events.

The role requires engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities, maintaining attendance records, and coordinating with parents and staff to ensure a positive experience for all participants.

Qualifications

• Must have First Aid and CPR/AED certifications within 60 days.
• Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work.
• No HS diploma required (if applicable) and flexibility for training.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Instructs organized activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Prepares and sets up for class; transfers kids to and from programming.
• Maintains records of attendance, development, and incidents.
• Ensures a safe, healthy environment and communicates with parents and team.
• Promotes all Kids & Aquatics programming to increase participation.
• Restocks supplies and cleans program areas after each class.
• Handles incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
