Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Kids Instructor to deliver fun, educational and fitness-minded programming for children aged 3 months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. You will organize activities, ensure safety, and support parents while hosting events as needed.

Responsibilities include welcoming members, guiding development across cognitive, social and physical areas, maintaining attendance and incident records, and promoting junior programming.

Qualifications

• Less than a High School Diploma or GED.
• First Aid and CPR/AED certifications must be obtained within the specified timeframe.
• Experience teaching or engaging children ages 3–11 is preferred.
• Ability to clearly communicate with parents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with members and guests in a friendly manner.
• Instructs activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Prepares and sets up for class and transitions children to/from activities.
• Maintains attendance, development, and incident records.
• Monitors safety and maintains a healthy environment for children and equipment.
• Uses positive behavior management and communicates with parents.
• Promotes Junior programming to boost participation.
• Maintains Kids Academy spaces and restocks supplies after class.
• Handles incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
