Job summary

Life Time Inc. seeks a Kids Instructor to deliver educational and fitness-minded programming for children from three months to 11 years in the Kids Academy.

The role may also involve hosting parties and events, requiring friendly interaction with members and guests. You will guide cognitive, social, and physical development through organized activities, manage class setup and transitions, and maintain safe, clean program spaces while communicating with parents and team members.

Qualifications

• Less than a High School Diploma or GED is acceptable.
• Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings before first day.
• First Aid and Infant/Child/Adult CPR/AED certifications within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Fosters children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development by instructing organized activities.
• Prepares and sets up for class and transfers kids to and from programming.
• Maintains records of children's attendance, development, and incidents.
• Monitors and interacts with children to maintain a safe environment with toys and equipment.
• Utilizes positive behavior management techniques and communicates with parents and team members.
• Promotes all Junior programming to increase participation in Kids & Aquatics programming.
• Maintains the Kids Academy and other program areas by cleaning and restocking after class.
