Job summary

Life Time in Houston seeks a Kids Events Team Member to guide children through activities such as rock climbing, swimming, arts and crafts, gym games, and more while weaving nutrition education into themed programs for ages 3–13.

Responsibilities include leading groups, maintaining safety, and promoting events to boost participation and revenue. You must be prepared to work evenings and weekends and to obtain First Aid and CPR/AED within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience
• First Aid Certification within 60 days
• CPR/AED for infant/child and adult within 60 days
• Ability to tolerate loud noises
• Ability to stand/walk/climb and reach
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Lead children in interactive activities including arts and crafts, singing, sports and games while maintaining a safe environment
• Supervise up to 10 children aged 3–13 with a positive and outgoing attitude
• Demonstrate courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity and professionalism to customers
• Maintain cleanliness and order of activities to ensure safety
• Promote monthly events to increase participation and revenue
• Ensure supplies, snacks and drinks follow department budget constraints
