Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Murphy, TX is seeking a store events coordinator to plan, coordinate, and deliver engaging activities such as children's birthday parties and craft classes within the Michaels store. You will engage guests of all ages and ensure a fun, creative environment while supporting sales and store operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple events, teaching crafts, assisting with checkout, and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with children and children’s events.
• Excellent people skills and ability to interact with guests of all ages.
• Retail and/or customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events within a Michaels store to provide a stress-free, fun guest experience.
• Engage with clients of all ages, demonstrate crafts, and perform activities such as face painting.
• Assist customers, help with checkout, and maintain store recovery standards as needed.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members and handle administrative tasks.
