Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee the Academy/Child Center operations, ensuring safety, engagement and top-tier service for Members and Team Members. The role partners with the Kids Manager to deliver quality junior programming, events and experiences.

The position requires strong customer service, leadership, and training skills, with responsibilities spanning hiring, payroll, and event coordination to create memorable activities for families.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience teaching or working in a children’s program.
• 2 years of experience in day care setting as a lead teacher or two consecutive summers of camp experience with increased responsibility.
• 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Successful completion and pass Kids On-Demand Certifications before 1st day of work.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service and a safe, clean, and friendly environment for Members and Guests.
• Promotes and assists in events/programming and drives participation numbers and revenue.
• Manages the Academy/Child Center payroll within budgetary guidelines and advises the Kids Manager as needed.
• Manages and supports the Kids team members with training, feedback, and coaching.
• Completes casting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of kids team members.
• Oversees inventory and ordering of supplies, toys and equipment for the Academy/Child Center and for events.
