Job summary

Life Time, Inc. seeks a capable leader to oversee the Academy/Child Center operations, safety, and member engagement. You will partner with the Kids Manager to deliver exceptional service and memorable children’s programs while upholding Life Time’s Mission.

Responsibilities include supervising and training the Kids team, recruiting and onboarding, managing payroll within budget, coordinating events and programming, and ensuring a clean, safe environment for young members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years teaching or childcare program experience.
• 2 years daycare lead teacher or two summers of camp with increased responsibility.
• 2 years supervisory/management experience.
• Pass Kids On-Demand Certifications before start date.
• First Aid, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service and a safe, clean, and friendly environment for Members and Guests.
• Promotes and assists Kids Manager in preparing for events/programming along with marketing and driving participation numbers and revenue.
• Manages the Academy/Child Center payroll within budgetary guidelines while making recommendations as needed to the Kids Manager.
• Manages and supports the Kids team members by providing ongoing training, giving feedback, and coaching.
• Completes the casting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of kids team members.
• Completes inventory and assists in ordering and maintaining supplies, toys and equipment within the Academy/Child Center and for Events and Programming.
