Life Time Inc. in Arlington, VA is seeking a Kids Academy/Center Manager to ensure safety, engagement and smooth operations of the Academy/Child Center and kids programming/events, delivering top-tier service to Members and Team Members.

You will partner with the Kids Manager, train and coach staff, oversee hiring, onboarding and payroll within budget, and help run events to boost participation and revenue.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience teaching or working in a children’s program.
• 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
• First Aid, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certifications required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Successful completion of Kids On-Demand Certifications before first day of work.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service and a safe, clean, and friendly environment for Members and Guests.
• Promotes and assists Kids Manager in preparing for events/programming along with marketing and driving participation numbers and revenue.
• Manages the Academy/Child Center payroll within budgetary guidelines while making recommendations as needed to the Kids Manager.
• Manages and supports the Kids team members by providing ongoing training, giving feedback, and coaching.
• Completes the casting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of kids team members.
• Completes inventory and assists in ordering and maintaining supplies, toys and equipment wihin the Academy/Child Center and for Events and Programming.
