Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking a Kids Instructor to deliver best-in-class, educational and fitness-minded programming for children from three months to 11 years old in the Kids Academy.

The role includes organizing, instructing, hosting parties and events when needed, and ensuring a safe, fun environment for all participants. Responsibilities include greeting members, guiding activities, maintaining attendance and progress records, and collaborating with parents and team members to promote junior

Qualifications

• Experience engaging children in activities for ages 0–11 preferred.
• First Aid and CPR/AED certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Completion of Kids On-Demand Learnings before first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Instructs activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.
• Sets up for class and transfers kids between programming.
• Maintains attendance, development and incident records.
• Monitors safety and environment; handles incidents calmly.
• Uses positive behavior techniques and communicates with parents and team.
• Promotes Junior programming to increase participation.
• Maintains program areas and restocks supplies after class.
• Handles emergencies with composure and professionalism.
