Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Kids Instructor to provide educational and fitness-minded programming for children aged 3 months to 11 years. You will organize engaging activities, monitor safety, and help children learn through fun games.

You may also host parties and events, while maintaining records and a positive environment. Responsibilities include greeting members, leading activities, preparing for classes, and working with parents and the team to ensure a high-quality Kids Academy experience.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching children ages 3–11 in similar programs or activities.
• Ability to engage a group of children in an activity.
• Customer service and strong communication skills.
• First Aid and CPR/AED certifications within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Instruct and organize activities to support children's development.
• Prepare for class and supervise transfers to/from programming.
• Maintain attendance, development, and incident records.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children and staff.
• Communicate clearly with parents and team members.
• PromoteJunior programming to increase participation across Kids & Aquatics.
• Restock supplies and follow the cleaning checklist.
• Handle incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
