Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Kids Instructor to deliver educational and fitness-minded activities for children from 3 months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. You will organize, host events, and ensure a safe, fun environment that fosters learning and healthy development.

Responsibilities include greeting families, guiding activities, tracking attendance, and maintaining equipment and spaces. First aid/CPR certifications are required within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work.
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Instructs activities to support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children 0.25–11 years.
• Prepares and sets up for classes and assists with transfers of kids to and from programming.
• Maintains attendance, development, and incident records.
• Maintains a safe and healthy environment around toys and equipment.
• Uses positive behavior management and communicates with parents and team members.
• Promotes all Junior programming to increase participation.
• Keeps Kids Academy and areas clean and restocks supplies after each class.
• Handles incidents calmly and effectively.
