Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking a Kids Instructor to provide educational and fitness-minded programming for children from 3 months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. The role includes hosting events, organizing activities, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for kids and families.

You will interact with parents, manage class flow, track attendance, and support all Kids and Aquatics programming. CPR/First Aid certification is required within 60 days of hire and prior learnings must be completed

Qualifications

• Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work
• First Aid, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certifications required within 60 days of hire
• Ability to engage and manage groups of children aged 3–11

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with members and guests professionally
• Instruct organized activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Prepare for class and transfer children to and from programming
• Maintain attendance, development, and incident records
• Ensure a safe environment and proper supervision of toys and equipment
• Communicate with parents and team members about behavior and progress
• Promote Junior programming to increase participation
• Maintain cleanliness and restock supplies in Kids Academy
• Handle incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally
