Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Instructor to deliver engaging, educational and fitness-minded programming for children aged three months to 11 years in the Kids Academy.

You will greet members, lead structured activities, ensure safety, maintain attendance records, and communicate with parents and teammates. Certification in First Aid and CPR/AED is required within 60 days, with previous child-care or teaching experience preferred. A passion for guiding early development is essential.

Qualifications

• Less than a High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work.
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification within 60 days of hire.
• 6+ months of teaching children ages 3–11 in similar programs or activities.
• Ability to engage a group of children in an activity.
• Customer service and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage members in a friendly, professional manner.
• Lead organized activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.
• Prepare and set up for class and assist with transporting children between activities.
• Maintain attendance, progress notes and incident records.
• Monitor safety and environment around toys and equipment.
• Use positive behavior management and communicate with parents and team members.
• Promote Junior programming to increase participation in Kids & Aquatics.
• Keep Kids Academy clean and restock supplies after classes.
