The role includes organizing, instructing, and hosting events while ensuring safety and engagement for all participants. Candidates should have some teaching experience with children and demonstrate strong communication skills, a customer-service mindset, and a commitment to a positive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service and strong communication skills.
• Engage groups of children in activities.
• First Aid/CPR certification required within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Instructs organized activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for children ages 3 months to 11 years.
• Prepares and sets up for class and transfers kids to and from programming.
• Maintains records of attendance, development, and incidents.
• Monitors safety and maintains a healthy environment around toys and equipment.
• Communicates with parents and team members using positive behavior management techniques.
• Promotes Junior programming to increase participation.
• Keeps Kids Academy and program areas clean and stocked; handles incidents calmly.
