Job summary

The Paper Store in Bristol, CT is seeking a part-time Key Holder to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales. You will greet customers, share product knowledge, process transactions, and help maintain merchandising standards on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include coaching teammates, handling returns, and supporting store opening/closing procedures while adhering to company policies. Ear piercing is required at select locations following training.

Qualifications

• Experience in specialty retail preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task while assisting customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS Systems.
• Ability to lead in a team environment.
• Able to be mobile on a sales floor for extended periods of time.
• Able to lift and mobilize up to 50 lbs. with proper safety techniques.

Responsibilities

• Act as a TPS Champion by modeling the G.U.E.S.T. service approach and delivering World Class Service.
• Greet and welcome every customer warmly and with enthusiasm.
• Understand customer needs by asking open-ended questions.
• Explain product features and benefits in relation to customer needs with in-depth knowledge.
• Suggest additional items to build onto sales using effective selling techniques.
• Thank the customer and invite them to return and shop with us again.
• Be a TPS Brand Ambassador and build customer loyalty.
• Inspire and motivate the team daily with positive feedback and TPS recognition programs.
• Demonstrate professional presentation and comply with dress code.
• Support all sales efforts across channels to maximize company sales.
• Process customer returns and exchanges and maintain POS data accuracy.
• Open/close the store and supervise the sales floor as required.
