Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help organize merchandise, and ensure the seasonal areas are well-maintained.

The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and the ability to train and supervise store associates in a fast-paced environment. This on-site position emphasizes safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing merchandise and maintaining seasonal areas of the store.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits).
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
