Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Akron is looking for a Keyholder/Shift Supervisor who will run daily retail operations and support program participants. You’ll handle cash, assist customers, and ensure accurate donation and sales procedures.

You will oversee stock, price tagging, and presentation of items while maintaining safety and quality standards. This role offers full-time benefits and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Operate cash register, perform stock duties and provide customer service.
• Ability to drive and carry a valid driver's license and proof of insurance (preferred)
• Basic mathematical skills
• Previous supervisory experience in customer service with retail or food service is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and POS system, handle opening/closing tasks and nightly deposits.
• Inspect textiles and items, sort, hang, tag, price and prep for resale throughout the day.
• Promote development of service participants and ensure safety and cleanliness in the work area.
• Contribute to a positive customer experience and support mission of community service.
