Goodwill Industries of Akron is seeking a Keyholder/Shift Supervisor to manage cash operations and daily store activities. You will handle opening/closing, deposits, and POS duties, while ensuring accurate reporting and safe, welcoming customer service.

The role emphasizes team leadership, inventory prep, and support for program participants, with an emphasis on community service and career development opportunities within a nonprofit retail environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Operate cash register and perform stock duties.
• Ability to drive and provide proof of insurance (preferred).
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and POS system accurately and efficiently.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and nightly deposits as needed.
• Complete reports such as donation counts, readings, daily business statements, deposits, and cash drawer balances.
• Sort, hang, tag, price, and prepare items for resale throughout the day.
• Promote development of service participants and maintain safety in the work area.
