Job summary

Torrid in New York City is seeking a Keyholder to support store management, open and close operations, and deliver an exceptional shopping experience for customers. You will partner with the management team to meet KPI goals and set an example for The Torrid Connection through selling skills and service.

You will assist with merchandise strategies while maintaining a clean, inviting store and handling register functions to drive add-on sales.

Qualifications

• Previous specialty/apparel retail management experience with proven ability to lead teams to success and strong sales performance.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while delivering an amazing customer experience.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing environments, schedules and fashion trends.

Responsibilities

• In partnership with management team, ensure store is achieving company objectives and KPI goals
• Set the example for The Torrid Connection through selling skills and customer service, ensuring the team provides a shopping experience that builds loyalty
• Support management in implementing merchandise strategies while maintaining a clean, inviting store environment
• Perform register functions using sales and product knowledge to drive add-on sales
• Assume responsibility of all store operations when Store Management is out as acting Manager on Duty
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends
