Atrium, on behalf of our client, seeks a Keyholder based in Los Angeles, CA to lead daily store operations and drive sales performance. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of premium fashion sales experience, strong clienteling skills, and proven ability to open/close and manage cash handling.

• Experience with opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, manage keys, alarms, and cash-handling to preserve operational integrity.
• Act as manager on duty, overseeing sales floor and supporting the team in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Lead in sales, customer service, and clienteling to drive performance and engagement.
• Drive store sales goals through proactive selling and team motivation.
• Develop customer relationships and build a personal client book for repeat business.
• Follow up with clients and grow the book through personalized outreach.
• Provide styling and product recommendations based on customer needs.
• Support visual merchandising and maintain brand standards on the floor.
• Assist with floor changes, stock replenishment, and daily inventory tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.

Compensation: Up to $30/hr

Position Overview

The Keyholder plays a vital role in supporting daily store operations and driving sales performance. This position serves as a leader on the sales floor, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and maintaining brand standards. The Keyholder collaborates closely with the Store Manager and team to achieve store goals and uphold operational excellence. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, including managing keys, alarms, and cash-handling procedures to ensure operational integrity
• Act as manager on duty, overseeing the sales floor and supporting the team in the absence of the Store Manager
• Lead by example in sales, customer service, and clienteling to drive performance and engagement
• Drive individual and store sales goals through proactive selling and team motivation
• Develop meaningful customer relationships and build a strong personal clientele to foster repeat business
• Follow up with clients and consistently grow your client book through personalized outreach
• Provide personalized styling and product recommendations based on customer needs and preferences
• Support visual merchandising, including styling displays, mannequins, and maintaining brand standards
• Assist with floor changes, product transfers, replenishment, and daily stock maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor to enhance the shopping experience
• Support Loss Prevention procedures and maintain operational standards for safety and compliance
• Collaborate with the team to achieve store goals and create a positive sales environment
• Represent the brand with a polished and professional appearance

Required Experience/Skills

• 4+ years of sales experience within an elevated contemporary or premium fashion environment
• Previous Key Holder, Lead, or other retail leadership experience
• Strong clienteling and relationship-building skills; an established client book is a plus
• Experience with opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and store operations
• Strong knowledge of fashion, styling, and product trends
• An eye for visual merchandising and presentation excellence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused approach
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Experience/Skills

• Experience in luxury, contemporary, or designer retail environments
• Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales goals
• Advanced styling and wardrobe-building expertise
• Familiarity with CRM systems and client data management
• Leadership training or supervisory experience in retail settings

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field preferred
• Ongoing professional development in retail management or sales leadership a plus
• Training in visual merchandising or styling techniques beneficial
• Certification in customer service or sales excellence preferred
