Job summary

Family Dollar in Elyria, OH is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to greet customers, help with merchandise selection and locate items, and efficiently complete sales at the POS. You may assist the Store Manager with daily operations, stock replenishment, deliveries, inventory, and keeping the store clean and welcoming.

When the Store Manager or Assistant is absent, you may handle opening/closing duties and cash handling while following company policies.

Qualifications

• Prefer experience in retail or grocery environments.
• Ability to read and interpret operational directives.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection and location.
• Process transactions accurately at the POS.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with deliveries and replenishment.
• Keep the store clean and presentable for customers.
• Assist in opening/closing duties and asset protection when needed.
