Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery environment preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and ensure store cleanliness and organization.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; support loss prevention.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash, and adhere to safety policies.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; foster a positive and respectful environment.
• Ensure a neat, clean store with well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
