Job summary

Family Dollar in Hazleton is seeking a part-time store associate to deliver excellent customer service, run sales transactions, and assist with inventory and store operations. You will support deliveries, merchandise replenishment, and maintain a clean, organized store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Guide store team on Family Dollar operating practices and procedures.
• Greet customers and assist with questions, handling inquiries and concerns.
• Build basket value through suggestive selling and promotions.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and manage stock transfers from stockroom to floor.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Open or close the store in absence of management, with operational support.
• Assist in asset protection and support store leadership in daily tasks.
