Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Key Holder in California to lead customer service and sales efforts at the store level. You will guide teams, oversee daily operations, and help drive store performance while upholding brand standards and policies.

Responsibilities include product knowledge, promotions, merchandising, cash handling, and opening/closing duties. Competitive hourly pay with benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability for varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture to exceed customer expectations.
• Become an expert in product categories and communicate features and benefits.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals: UPT, ADT, add-ons, and customer data capture.
• Understand current promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain merchandising standards and assist with floor moves, displays and housekeeping.
• Process merchandise and monitor floor stock replenishment.
• Complete sales transactions accurately at POS and manage cash/media.
• Partner with leadership to develop skills and improve metrics.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and comply with Time and Attendance policies.
• Adhere to laws, policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
