Job summary

Boot Barn in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Part-time Key Holder to engage customers, provide leadership to store partners and support daily operations. The role emphasizes selling, product knowledge, and visual merchandising to meet sales goals.

You will reinforce a customer‑centric service culture, manage transactions at POS, and assist with merchandising and floor coverage. The position requires flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, time management, and organization skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexible scheduling and willingness to work extended hours.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture, exceeding expectations to build customer relationships.
• Become an expert in product categories and communicate knowledge to customers.
• Maintain and achieve goals: UPT, ADT, add-ons, and customer data capture.
• Be informed about current promotions and ads.
• Assist with merchandising, floor moves, stock replenishment, and store housekeeping.
• Process merchandise and complete sales transactions at POS.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop skills and improve metrics.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and comply with Time & Attendance policy.
• Adhere to laws, policies, and practices; perform other duties as assigned.
