DNV Key Customer Manager Job Description

DNV is seeking a Key Customer Manager to lead business development for new Key Customers within our Business Assurance North America division. The role involves actively building relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders, understanding customer needs deeply, and achieving sales targets.

This position covers the entire range of company products and services for Key Customers, focusing on customer satisfaction, retention, and sales growth aligned with sales objectives.

The role requires collaboration with the Market & Industries Team, Regional Managers, Area Sales teams, and leadership across Assurance and Supply Chain, often achieving results through teamwork.

This role is 100% remote within the United States.

What You'll Do
  1. Build relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders to understand customer needs and foresight.
  2. Understand the Key Customer's organization, challenges, and strategic vision, including its subsidiaries, financials, and culture.
  3. Coordinate business development and sales initiatives across DNV units related to Key Customers.
  4. Contribute to the design and rollout of new services, providing insights and collaborating on sales strategies.
  5. Act as a trusted partner, responsible for the growth and success of Key Customer relationships.
  6. Work closely with various teams to meet business goals and KPIs.
  7. Achieve sales objectives within strategic accounts.
  8. Maintain high customer satisfaction standards.
  9. Stay informed on industry technologies, market conditions, and competitors to better serve customers and grow revenue.
  10. Collaborate with project managers and account officers to assess contractual obligations and customer needs.
  11. Apply pricing, discounts, and terms according to company policies.
  12. Maintain and update customer business plans.
