Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking an Account Specialist in Woodstock, IL to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service for branch key accounts.

You will build relationships, match products and solutions to client needs, and support daily branch operations at the Woodstock location. Ideal candidates are 18+ with a valid driver's license, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving record requirements for company vehicle use.
• Degree in Business/Marketing or related industry experience and knowledge of local market.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.
• Self-motivated, customer service oriented, able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing a sales plan in a local territory to reach and exceed sales goals.
• Support the day-to-day needs of the branch's key accounts.
• Work directly with key accounts.
• Grow and maintain an assigned book of business.
• Perform other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
