Job summary

QXO is seeking a results-driven Inside Sales and Customer Service professional in California to act as the primary contact for key customers, handling inquiries by phone and email. You will bolster sales, collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives, and manage orders from initiation to delivery.

You’ll help promote private label products and digital solutions, support quarterly business reviews, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve daily issues whether remote or in office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' Sales or Customer Service experience, preferably in building materials.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
• Effective interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for business purposes.
• Comfort with extended desk work and heavy phone/email communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for key customers, addressing inquiries and concerns through phone and email.
• Provide exceptional customer service to bolster sales efforts and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives (OSR) to strengthen customer relationships and work toward sales targets.
• Manage the entire order process from initiation to delivery, including order tracking and product recommendations.
• Make strategic recommendations to increase adoption of private label products and digital solutions.
• Support OSRs in developing account growth strategies and conducting Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while assisting with various customer operations.
• Resolve day-to-day customer issues, whether working remotely or from company offices as required.
