Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Key Account Executive to join our Virginia territory. The role covers Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas and surrounding areas. You will educate and upsell accounts, service clients, and collaborate with Labcorp operations to meet needs.

A valid driver's license and willingness to travel overnight are required. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of outside account management or sales in diagnostics or healthcare, Salesforce experience, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years outside account management or sales experience.
• Diagnostics, medical or laboratory sales experience.
• Salesforce experience.
• Experience in the healthcare industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel overnight as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Educate, instruct, and upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory.
• Function as a liaison between the client and Labcorp operations team in relation to client needs.
• Provide ongoing service and problem resolution to customer base.
• Ensure customer retention by providing superior customer service.
• Recommend solutions that are client focused and persuasive.
• Provide account management for client’s day to day operations.
• Upsell current book of business to increase organic growth.
• Work closely with senior sales representatives to grow book of business.
• Continuously provide educational material to the client base.
• Resolve any customer related issues in a timely manner.
• Meet and exceed monthly retention and upsell goals on a regular basis.
