Job summary

Kettle Cuisine is seeking a Kettle Operator to oversee processing in our Union City, CA facility. The role ensures adherence to quality, safety, and production protocols for the shift hours of 4:00am–12:30pm or 12:30pm–9:30pm, with overtime likely as business needs change.

Responsibilities include following HACCP guidelines, executing SOPs, monitoring scales and CCPs, and coordinating with maintenance for equipment issues.

Qualifications

• Proficient in following HACCP policies and guidelines.
• Knowledgeable of CCPs & CQPs.
• Familiar with SSOPs and hygienic production practices.
• Able to understand and monitor tasks to maintain quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality and food safety protocols in production.
• Adhere to SOP procedures and documentation.
• Determine corrective actions and complete C&C reports.
• Verify preparation and packing scales daily.
• Report equipment malfunctions to Maintenance Manager; clean and sanitize equipment.
• Monitor monitoring activities and chart recorders; document results.
• Maintain inline protection devices between batches; manage trash accumulation.
• Participate in BOS Safety program and related activities.
