Responsibilities

• Follow quality and food safety protocols and SOPs; document actions.
• Perform corrective actions and complete C&C Reports.
• Verify scales daily and monitor chart recorder reaching >190°F.
• Notify Maintenance of equipment issues; clean and sanitize all production equipment.
• Check inline protective devices between batches and monitor trash.
• Participate in BOS Safety program; perform other duties as required.

Job description

The primary focus of this position is to oversee processing of food manufacturing operations to meet company standards for food safety, quality, and production protocols. Kettle Operator hours are approximately for first shift 4:00am - 12:30pm or for second shift 12:30pm – 9:30pm. The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries for the Savory Creations Int’l/Kettle Cuisine Union City, CA location only. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. The Kettle Operator Employee in this position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package and is eligible for the annual bonus program up to $1,000.
