Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to lead and support lean initiatives on the production floor in Fremont, CA. You will drive Kaizen workshops, Gemba walks, and 5S programs to eliminate waste and improve flow.

You will partner with production, quality, logistics, and engineering to map value streams, monitor KPIs for safety, quality, and productivity, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across all levels.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related manufacturing experience.
• Strong communication skills at all levels.
• Proficiency with software tools and data analysis.
• Ability to adapt to a high-paced environment.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S methodologies
• Facilitate Kaizen workshops, Gemba walks, and process improvement events on the production floor
• Analyze current-state processes, identify waste, and implement sustainable process improvements
• Implement and sustain 5S standards through daily audits and competitions
• Create and maintain value stream maps to improve material and process flow
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, logistics, and engineering
• Track and report key performance metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity
• Build and assemble parts as needed to support manufacturing operations
• Engage employees at all levels to foster a culture of continuous improvement
