Job summary

Kamatics in Bloomfield, CT is hiring a Senior Continuous Improvement (Lean) Facilitator to act as an internal Lean expert and strategic resource across the organization. You will lead kaizen events, coach leaders on Lean tools, and ensure improvements are sustained through standard work and daily management.

Requirements include 5–8 years in manufacturing, Lean project leadership, and experience with value stream mapping and problem-solving methodologies. Aerospace exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• 5–8 years in manufacturing driving Lean and CI initiatives.
• Experience leading kaizen events and CI projects with measurable improvements.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional kaizen events from planning through sustainment.
• Identify improvement opportunities in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Conduct value stream mapping and process analysis to find waste and bottlenecks.
• Apply Lean methods: A3, PDCA, 5S/6S, standard work, Kanban, takt time.
• Develop project plans, timelines, risks, and documentation.
• Coach employees and leaders on Lean principles and tools.
• Develop Lean training materials and champions across the org.
• Create control plans to sustain improvements and prevent regression.
• Establish Leader Standard Work and visual management systems.
• Monitor results and ensure proper controls and metrics.
