Job summary

Kamatics Corporation in Bloomfield, CT seeks a Senior Continuous Improvement (Lean) Facilitator who acts as an internal Lean consultant, partnering with leaders to drive projects that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.

You will lead kaizen events, coach teams on Lean tools, develop training materials, and sustain improvements with daily management, standard work, and control plans; travel may be required for major implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• 5–8 years in a manufacturing environment driving Lean and Continuous Improvement.
• Experience leading kaizen events and CI projects with measurable improvements.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate cross-functional kaizen events and CI projects from planning through implementation.
• Partner with managers to identify opportunities related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and efficiency.
• Conduct value stream mapping and process analysis to identify waste and bottlenecks.
• Apply Lean problem-solving methodologies including A3, PDCA, root cause analysis, 5S/6S, standard work, Kanban, flow, and takt time.
• Develop project plans, timelines, risks, and documentation; train and mentor staff on Lean principles.
• Establish Leader Standard Work and daily management practices; monitor results and sustain improvements.
